Diving and Snorkelling in Busselton, Western Australia

Busselton and the surrounding areas offer some fantastic scuba diving and snorkeling opportunities. When it comes to snorkeling there is some great shore based snorkeling to be had in close around the jetty pylons and along the foreshore beach.

With Geographe Bay being quite protected from the large ocean swells, when you get a nice south to south east breeze blowing you’ll find the visibility to be great. Your likely to see a lot of whiting, herring, skippy and garfish swimming around. If you’re lucky you might come across some squid and blue manna crabs.

For those scuba divers wanted to explore all that is on offer a dive off the end of the jetty is highly recommended. Or alternatively there are a number of charters available to take you diving out around the cape. A popular scuba dive is the HMAS Perth Wreck which is definitely worth while!
