4WD Tracks in Western Australia

The 4WD Tracks in Western Australia are second to none. Due to the pure size of WA there are hundreds if not thousands of 4WD tracks throughout the state.

  1. Mundaring Powerlines Track
    Following the powerlines through mundaring, this is one of the most popular serious tracks close to Perth.

  2. Jarrahdale and Albany Hwy track
    Another fun track close to Perth is this track near Jarrahdale.

  3. Wilbinga
    A awesome beach track approximately 65km north of Perth.

  4. Julimar
    A great 4WD bush track located approx 85km north east of Perth. Definitely a track of the more experienced.

  5. Dwellingup
    Not only a 4WD track though dwellingup offers both great 4WDing and other activities such as fishing, hiking and kayaking. There is also the option to camp at Dwellingup too.

  6. Captain Fawcett Track
    Located within Dwellingup, this is a moderate track with some nice camp sites right next to the river.

  7. Waroona Dam
    Waroona Dam is located approx. 120kms south of Perth and offers both great 4WDing, boating, kayaking and water skiing.

  8. Ledge Point
    Approximately 120km north of Perth, Ledge Point is a beach track allowing you to follow the coast south.

  9. Preston Beach
    Another popular beach track within an hour or so drive south of Perth. Apart from the beach 4WDing this is also a popular track for those who wish to cast a line, especially in salmon season!

  10. Lancelin Sand Dunes
    An awesome spot for those wanting to do some dune based 4wding. Lancelin sand dunes are located approximately 130 kms north of Perth. Some great fun to be had though be careful when going up and down the dunes and be sure to watch out for bikes and dune buggies that often ride through the area.
