Fishing at Big Brook Dam

Little do people know though Big Brook Dam is a fantastic fishing spot with a number of different freshwater fish species inhabiting the dam.

You can fish along the water edge and in addition to this there are also two fishing platforms that can be reached by walking around the edge of the dam. The location of these platforms can be seen in the below map.

When I’ve fished there I’ve also done pretty well fishing from the wall at the south end of the dam (right hand side). Note, be mindful of the buoys in the water as they mark an area where you can’t cast a line.
