Sandy Point (Warroora Station)

Sandy Point is one of the eleven campgrounds located within Warroora Station on the Ningaloo Reef in WA, approximately 1100kms north of Perth.

About Sandy Point

Sandy Point in Waroona comprises of 14 campsites tucked away behind the dunes. This beautiful spot is sort after by many campers wanting to escape the hustle and bustle and relax alongside the ocean.

Things to do

There are a number of things to do at Sandy Point including;

  • Fishing
  • Swimming
  • Snorkelling
  • Kayaking & Paddle Boarding
  • 4WDing
  • Sightseeing (Keep an eye out for turtles!)
  • Crab hunting (great fun for the kids!)

Sandy Point is also known to produce some decent surf, however as the reef break is a couple of kilometres out you’ll need a boat to access the surf.
