Alexandra Bridge Campground

Alexandra Bridge Campground is a peaceful and relaxing campsite located inland from Augusta, on the Blackwood River.

Alexandra Bridge campground has twenty one sites to choose from, however this can not be booked in advanced and are based on a first come, first served basis. There are a range of sites that cater for large caravans, camper trailers or tents. Note, similar to other camping grounds in the area there is a 28 days maximum length of stay.


The campground has onsite toilets, gas BBQs, picnic tables, cold showers and rubbish bins. For those that have a boat, there is also an boat ramp to launch from.

Things to do

A lot of people come to Alexandra Bridge to get away from the hustle and bustle and to sit back and relax, however for looking to do something popular activities include:

  • Fishing (Marron fishing is popular during the season)
  • Paddle boarding of kayaking
  • Bird watching
  • Bush hiking
  • Wildflower sighting
