Coral Bay Boat Ramp

The Coral Bay boat ramp is a fantastic ramp located south of the Coral Bay town. The boat ramp consists of two concrete ramps with jetties on either side. To the right of the boat ramp, there is also a commercial jetty used by charter operators to pick up and drop customers off.

The great thing about the coral bay boat ramp is that it has protective rock walls to the west side of the ramp. This is great for providing some shelter from the prevailing westerly winds in the afternoons.

When you heading out from the ramp there are two deep water passages you can follow to get out behind the reef, these being either the south passage or the north passage. Before heading out be to read the boating guide for Coral Bay which provides some great info on both options.

If you plan to do some fishing whilst at Coral Bay then be sure to check out our Coral Bay fishing guide.
