Kalbarri, Western Australia

Kalbarri is situated in the midwest of Western Australia, where the Murchison River and the Indian Ocean meet. The beautiful town of Kalbarri offers many beaches, gorges, waterways and swimming bays to explore.  Kalbarri is also on the edge of the National Park which is home to the famous Skywalk and other attractions such as Natures Window.

Additionally, there are also many walking trails along the coast line and throughout the national park which when in season is great for viewing hundreds of wildflower species.  The town of Kalbarri is also surrounded by some great fishing and surfing points. There are beaches where you can fish, swim, surf, sun bath or sit back and enjoy the scenery.

If you do plan to head up from Perth in a car be sure to check out some nice spots on the way up, including the Pinnacles at Cervantes and the Pink Lake at Port Gregory. As you get closer to Kalbarri there are also a number of fantastic look outs and natural attractions along the coast line before heading into to the town. The beautiful coastal town of Kalbarri is located in the Mid-West area around 592 km north of Perth, Western Australia which is an approximate 6hrs dive north of Perth. The town is located at the North of river Murchison. You can drive from Perth or you can take a 50 minutes flight to Geraldton plus a 90 min drive north.
