Geraldton is a coastal city located in the Mid West region of the state. It is the largest city between Perth and Kalbarri, and is a major regional centre for commerce and tourism.

The City of Greater Geraldton was officially proclaimed on 1 July 1998. The City covers an area in excess of 2,170 square kilometres. Geraldton is an important seaport for Western Australia with imports and exports passing through the Port of Geraldton. The Geraldton Municipal Airport services the city with regular passenger flights to Perth.

The Geraldton Foreshore provides a range of activities, from swimming and fishing to walking and cycling. The Port of Geraldton is also a popular spot for fishing, crabbing and boating.

How to get to Geraldton?

Geraldton is 419km north of Perth and can be easily accessed via many different modes of transport. Although most drive up from Perth the airport also services regular flights from Perth.
